Much Fewer Telemarketer Phone Calls

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but our phones (landline & cell) have been very quiet these days. All those robo or telemarketer calls we used to get have dwindled down to next to nothing..
Wondering if it's the same all around, how's your phone doing?

Same here in OH HI OH - and my spam email has dwindled, too! Hooray for one positive result from this devastating situation!

Our landline was ringing constantly from 8am-9pm at times with spammers and scammers. Mine also is much quieter now, maybe a couple of calls a day.....every grey cloud has a silver lining.

I haven't been getting as much but then I used the thing Don talked of awhile back.

Well I only have my cell phone which will show "Scam likely" for such calls. Yesterday I took a chance and answered a call and turns out it wasn't a scam at all...it was someone I knew.

Agreed. Robo calls down about 90%. Logically I would have expected calls to go up since more people would be home.

Don't know, don't care - I am just happy about it (-: Well, actually, it may be call centers closing due to 6' proximity issues and non-essential services. I have no idea if humans have to keep robocall systems running. Really don't miss them and kind of hope they don't get back on their feet with government bail-outs. Let these folks find new, less annoying careers.

Since I put NoMoRobo on our phone, a couple of months ago, our nuisance calls have almost ceased. We used to get 6 or 8 a day, and now we get one every few days, and the rate continues to decline. Since I suspect that most of them come from India, and that nation is on a rather strict shutdown, perhaps thieves are somewhat restricted in their activities.
