The first time I heard the word "My bad" was years ago, from my son's music teacher. I just thought it was funny and didn't think anything of it. If someone were to say it now, instead of "sorry," it would not bother me. To me it's slang for an apology.
I also do not use the cell phone. I keep it for emergencies and
turn it on to text my son, and then turn it off. I do not like cell phones. My son's not allowed to bring his cell phone to the table when he's visiting. My rules.
Addiction is a real thing, and we have enough addicts (smoking, drugs, drinking, etc) to keep our mental health providers busy. Cell phone addiction is real, too. They are hijacking our minds and our lives through cell phones. Don't want to be a part of it.
