Patty, a loss of a parent, has no age limit. My mother was just into her 30's when tuberculosis caused her premature death. Her husband, my father, broken beyond belief, raised their kids alone. We needed him of course, but years later he admitted that raising us was a tribute to the love he had lost. Dad lived until he was 92. His passing was as painful as mother's was all those years ago. My prayers and sympathy are with you.

No words to say how much you feel for this loss. Hope you have comfort in knowing he lived longer than most & that you had him in your life for those years.
