My Doctor is Pretty Smart!

This morning I went to see my doctor just to get a refill on medications. As you know, the Canada-US land border had been closed for almost 1.5 years. Well, my doctor said that some things just don't make any sense. As he put it: How is it that 1 or 2 people in an isolated car or truck are not allowed to cross the border but it's OK to fill a plane with 200 or more passengers sitting close to each other breathing the same air in a jet? Seems that rule to fight Covid just didn't make any sense. Well, I thought my doctor was pretty smart and I agreed with him 100%. Yup! Some rules just don't make no sense!

If Canada is anything like Australia the plane passengers are pretty much vetted but even so, it is still risky. As we learn to live this Covid we will have to learn how to manage risk.

Yeah, its hard to make up good rules in a situation like this, so if we have any some are likely not to make sense. And you got to remember its the government making most of the rules, and they are well known for things that don't make sense.

I don't understand the whole US/Canada travel thing, it seems to me the border could have been left open, perhaps with reasonable precautions, and resulted in a lot less disruption at little risk.
