My Dog is Sick-Need Prayers

Discovered a strange thing a couple of days ago. I bandaged Marley's leg where the wound was healing, but she wouldn't leave it alone, ergo, the bandage. No more limping, she's been running around like a pup again. Methinks we have a tad spoiled doggy here.

Ruthanne, I hope all the news for Suzy is positive from here on out. Keeping her in our prayers.

Heard from the Vet today. Suzy has some bronchitis. Her heart looks good. Her liver is slightly enlarged. Could be just because she's older but she wants to do labs to make sure Suzy doesn't have liver disease.

She prescribed 2 medicines. An antibiotic and something for a bit of a cough. I'm picking them up tomorrow.

I hope the medications help her and hoping she has no liver disease. Poor baby girl, big hug from me when she's feeling up to it.

I'm glad Suzy at least has started treatment. I know waiting must've been tough. I hope she recovers well and quickly and does not have liver disease.

Thank you Diva I'm concerned about liver disease and am going to get lab work done for her. I, too, hope very much she doesn't have that and will do the testing in case there are treatments.

Sadly, Marley has had a set back and her leg wound opened up again. We are getting a new vet for her as not at all satisfied with her present one.

I appreciate that. She's on her treatments now. She had one of those scary episodes yesterday morning and I did what the man in the YouTube video taught. It worked! I'll continue to do that too

She's her usual chipper self. She's so sweet. The episodes got much shorter. She didn't have one yesterday. Thanks for asking
