Found this in my spam folder today. :lol: Wondering if I should respond that I'm dead. ;) (Just kidding; I never respond to this absurd drivel.)



"We use this opportunity to confirm from you if really you have sent your Doctor as a representative. However, we received an email from one Dr. Mrs. Verani Bekti yesterday who told us that she is your private Doctor and next of kin and that you died of cancer recently.

Her contact details: Address: 110 Interglen Avenue, River Vale, New Jersey 07675. Beneficiary: Dr Mrs Verani Bekti. But from our findings through FIRS (TAX RECORD) we could not find any death record about you.

Please confirm to us immediately that you are alive. "
 

If you want a notarized copy of your death certificate they will probably first want ten million dollars transferred to a S. African bank account......my advise would be to go ahead and transfer the funds I'm sure it's legit.

Anyone else remember when this was an "All in the family" episode except it wasnt FBI it was social security and of course email was unheard of then.
 
LOL! There seems to be no end to the imaginative use of the communications media by these crooks. I hope Dr Mrs Verani Bekti will soon be able to afford a larger house. (You'd think that name alone would raise
an alarm!) Better still: the larger house should be a federal prison.

Falcon, the FBI started sending emails asking for money after their cousins, the CIA, have had such success with their (endless) phone calls warning people that the police are on their way to arrest them for tax evasion, unless they promptly call the following number....
 
Don't write back anything! The crooks are fishing for a live person. The long standing rule is never give out any information to anyone you don't know.

Guess they have nothing to do so they send out e-mails. Next they will be playing computer games with the mafia!
 
Trust me if the real FBI wants to talk you, you will know. I and my family were subjected to that after my husband had brain surgery. He said a lot of strange things. One got reported to the FBI, ( I am sure by hospital or rehab staff) the FBI talked to me, his doctors and our extended family. Believe me if you make any kind of threat regarding a president even if you are not in your right mind and they found out about it in anyway you will be investigated. You will now right away it is no scam.
