Facebook is the cold sore on the lip of the Internet! It's paranoia knows no similars elsewhere on the Net! It's a hyper-complicated mass of over-featured, busy-bodying, gross insecurity! Several years ago, millions were leaving Facebook - far more than they were already victimising by expulsion, themselves, because privacy on Facebook is an illusion and their demands for facial recognition videos just went...too far. (Sad, too, because I'd enjoyed a lot of my time on Facebook in the earlier years, before the security disease ruined it.)
Facebook is now just a rusty old supergiant warship with a plethora of rarely used bells and whistles and an unrealised fantasy of, one day, swallowing the entire Internet. It's actually heart-warming to read of how many millions of people are deserting Facebook, in favour of enjoying their time on the Net! Anything from the Meta group/corporation (remembering Instagram, also) should be viewed with great suspicion and users should never assume that they have really arrived home, anywhere if it's owned by Meta!
You're being watched, and they will get around to you!
Who would've believed that their name of "Facebook" wasn't just a really silly name, but a prediction of the nature of their ambition and their demise - the demand for an immense database of faces of private people?
Once they began demanding facial recognition video or picture-ID from me, I explained to them the exact whereabouts they should target when they put their precious Facebook away somewhere dark and secret...repeatedly, and soon!
I then left there, feeling showered, changed and refreshed!
Why do so many people let Facebook ride roughshod over them for so long before voting with their feet and leaving there? I remember the early years of Facebook and it's sad, what it's become!
