Very nice!!!Not growing in galvanized tubs like at the old house, and plants now get a lot of sun since there are no large trees near the house. I see plenty of green ones in the offing, too.

I always used heirloom seeds for almost all my vegetables and loved saving seeds from my harvest. Had jars of them when I left to move here. So like seeing what you are growing now.I just saved seeds from other tomatoes and started them this spring indoors until the weather moderated, then I transplanted.
So true. No matter how many "wascally wabbits" I shoot every spring, there are always plenty around to eat any veggie I try to grow. The ones that rabbits don't get, the deer make short work of.I'm surprised the local fauna hasn't attacked them. I have an acquaintance who loses half her tomatoes every year ro chipmunks, squirrels and bunnies.
It is amazing and they go with most anything at every meal. If you can find "heirloom" tomatoes at the store and then let them sit out a few days, is about as close as you can get to vine ripened... in my opinion.A few weeks ago, I learned that there is a big difference between store-bought tomatoes & ones picked when ripe.
I bought some from a farm & I couldn't believe the difference in taste!
