My flowers keep on coming.

These Zinnias have been blooming since the first of July. Bouquet after bouquet. A few Snap Dragons are still blooming also. I'm going to miss having them on my kitchen table. This Friday we might get a bit of snow in New Jersey, depending on who you listen to. I guess that will be the end of them.
I will certainly plant them again next year. last flowers.JPG

So pretty.

Every now and then (years ago) I would pick up a simple and affordable bouquet to cheer up the inside of the home.

Always so nice seeing a colourful burst on a table or in a setting.

@Camper6 ,yes I plant all my flowers and veggies from seed. I use the plastic containers that the already roasted chickens come in at our food store.
I don't buy them often but once I put holes in the bottom and fill with potting soil they last from year to year. I mist the soil and put the clear plastic lid on them and place in a sunny window.
I don't have to water until they are all up. The container acts like a mini green house. Once up I remove the lid. When they start to get gangly I separate them and plant in paper cups. They stay there until its time to go into the garden.
I enjoy doing this toward the end of January that's about the time I get all excited about my garden.

So colorful! Such a nice treat to see. Thanks for posting this. I love snapdragons, but they struggle in our dry summers, unfortunately. On the good side, alstroemeria (Peruvian lilies) do well out here, and also flower a long time.
