My Mom, age 91, passed away this weekend. Some of you know she lived with us for the last 4 1/2 years. Due to a fall and broken knee, she had lived in an extended care facility for the last two months.

She was a wonderful mother. Her final days were a hard fought struggle for her and I’m glad she is at peace now. So many in our family will miss her.

My heart goes out to you in the loss of your mother. It doesn't matter how old they live to be, we miss them just the same. I lost mine when I was 20 years old. That's been many moons ago. Not a day has gone by since that I don't think of her. Mothers are special.
