Pretend you are on the telephone and discuss how you are experimenting with vodoo curses. Announce that you have cursed your neighbors and are waiting for the rashes and headaches to start.
A perfect solution @RadishRose! I'd also make it hiphop or rap so there would be a lot of speaking tones, not just the music!Put a radio in the window sill. When they come over, turn it on just loud enough to baffle their hearing of you, but not enough to be considered a nuisance.
@Murrmurr is right! You can't change other people's behavior.Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't care. I'd wonder why my neighbor cares, but it wouldn't effect my g-kid's situation, or me, or anything at all.
Love this!Pretend you are on the telephone and discuss how you are experimenting with vodoo curses. Announce that you have cursed your neighbors and are waiting for the rashes and headaches to start.
Yes,@Murrmurr is right! You can't change other people's behavior.
Give it no thought! They might be behaving as third graders, but you don't have to do the same.
Getting angry or getting revenge is such a waste of time.
(The things these folks came up with ARE PRETTY FUNNY though!)
That's a whole other matter. Doing stuff like that is not harmless.Yes,
... could copy pictures ... the pictures were published publicly ...
I think there's some nervous nellies members getting excited over nothing.
Like what ?That's a whole other matter. Doing stuff like that is not harmless.
holy cow
I put the like whats in bold textLike what ?
ah, I see. I agree going taking pictures putting them anywhere might be dangerous for the picture taker and the one in the pictures depending on content.I put the like whats in bold text
I was talking about going further than eavesdropping: taking pictures and putting them online. That's what I thought your post was about, but I'm pretty sure you're at a different party.
I was aware they do this and generally close the windows when they are outside. And they do have a big enough yard and a deck so there is no need for them to sit in such close proximity to my house.
Another neighbor repeated something to me that she could have only heard through them. I had a conversation yesterday with my cousin about moving and she asked me about it. No one else was privy to this conversation.
When they first moved in we did talk but after awhile I found they give me the creeps and I want to be polite but distant. I never initiated conversations, and made excuses to excuse myself when trapped.
This resulted in them going to another neighbor who they know I am friendly with to ask this person why I was not talking to them. Then to add to it they confronted the handyman doing some work on our house. Both people felt as if they were put on the spot.
Don't laugh, it's not funny, but I have thought of discouraging their behavior by turning on the computer to either a porn site with moans and groans or perhaps to an evangelical Christian broadcast.
Think they might get the message?
Suggestions welcome.
And say you will be getting a pistol. My Neighbors Sit Under My Window To Spy
Pretend to be making a phone call.....and 'loudly'.....
"Hello, Jack, what's that you say?"
"You mean there are burglars in the area!!"
"Thanks for the tip-off, mate, I'll get some CCTV cameras installed tomorrow, that should deter anyone lurking outside my place."
I don't get the connection between selling your personal info or giving it away and eavesdropping on a neighbor w/o their permissionSure, or it can be, but then again, what about storing everything you ever typed into a computer in your lifetime, every keystroke, every day for the last five or ten or more years,
and selling any or all of it to whoever is willing to pay the price ,
or 'give' it to the government or other corporation in some sort of deal ?
I wasn't referring to yourself selling or giving away information,I don't get the connection between selling your personal info or giving it away and eavesdropping on a neighbor w/o their permission
TY..I misinterpreted..sorry.I wasn't referring to yourself selling or giving away information,
but the hidden collection, and actually not hidden collection, the internet powers have of everything you ever typed in a computer or a phone, and likely many or all of the things in view of a computer or phone camera or microphone - unknown collection of all of that,
then sold by the ones who have it
to governments, agencies, neighbors if they have enough money, lawyers, criminals, cabal, mob, pharmakeia, congress/senate/house/ , military, civilian law enforcement, television and radio entities - whoever hacks or pays can get all the "private" info about everyone everywhere with few exclusions.
How true followers of Jesus reacted in the first century : Hebrews chapter ten:and maybe someday you'll find them getting stuff out of your refrigerator and hauling it over to their place because they thought you wouldn't mind.

For you showed sympathy and deep concern for those who were imprisoned, and
you joyfully accepted the [unjust] seizure of your belongings and the confiscation of your property, conscious of the fact that you have a better possession and a lasting one [prepared for you in heaven]."
