I rarely share things like this. I keep things to myself. I'm sharing it here because I've noticed how caring many people here are. They come out and give compassion to those who are suffering.
My nephew was 30 yrs old. He was the only child of my baby sister. He was out with acquaintances and I guess got into a confrontation with someone. He was shot several times, they took him to the hospital, he walked in and passed away shortly after. Detectives showed up at my sister's house to tell her in the overnight hours of Sunday morning.
My nephew was quiet and kind, spent a short time in the military and had a certificate in audio from Full Sail University.
I thank you all for your prayers, thoughts, condolences and sympathy because I know you will give it. Though I may not be active here for awhile, I will stop by from time to time to read what you share. It will comfort and strengthen me.
I forgive the person who murdered my nephew. I have even prayed for him and his family. However, if he can be found, he needs to be convicted.
