I got on the list for three different plumbing companies and as I guessed the lesser known company came to my rescue yesterday. New kitchen sink faucet and both bath tub faucets and water line inspection to the fridge ice maker. They had to rip out one half of one wall in a walk-in closet to get at the tub plumbing. Cost=$2,450. Insurance payed for nothing because the clogging occurred at the valves to the faucets. I will replace the drywall. It was great to take a hot shower with full pressure! Luckily for me I asked the plumber why all the other units in my building pipes burst in the ceilings while mine did not. He said because the pressure was reduced on mine due to the leaking at the other units. 125 people died in the freeze because of the deliberate power blackout by ERCOT.
