My Roller Coaster Ride Of A Life

:LOL: There were moments in my life when I was shocked by how different my life was from the life I had planned for myself. Our later years is a time of coming to peace with our lives.

I hope reincarnation is a reality. I would love to play the game life again.
Definitely moments of my life have been difficult and some even horrible to live through. I do feel at peace with the life I have lived and focus on those special times in my life.

If I would have to go through life again there would be things I would want to stay the same of course , but many others never to have occurred. Not sure if I would want to lead a completely different life.

That topic is important, for sure, and good and helpful to share;
Yet it is also the way you write about your experiences, that generalizes to other people's differing experiences and to their own lives as well.
Yes definitely the topic is one of which that needs to be made aware more often. I know when I first experienced the lumps on my breasts, I really had no idea of what to expect. I just so happened to be lucky as I just experienced some tenderness and something felt odd. So I got it checked out. Regular checks by women in the showers are very important indeed. Later, when I ended up with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma the signs were all there with fatigue, sweats, loss of weight so I knew something was not right. At the time I didn't know if the Breast Cancer returned or if it was another form. The good thing is it was quickly diagnosed and treated. That is the main thing about Cancer. Get checked out the first signed of feeling out of sorts. It is better to be safe than sorry.

Colorado is quite beautiful.
My oldest son is in the Colorado Springs area, my younger son frequently visits, and skis on the other side of the mountain. When I visit, It takes a flat lander a while to get used to the altitude, but it is beautiful country. BTW, I enjoy Cab.

Colorado Springs is about an hour South of where I am located. Cabernet Wine is one of my favorites.

Hello @Signe The Survivor and welcome to Senior Forums. You are a brave woman.

Hello and thank you. I really appreciate that. I feel that anyone faced with what I was faced with would try to be as brave as they possibly could. I always remember the Jim Valvano speech where he says "Don't give up, don't ever give up.". As for the school shooting, I remember being scared out of my mind, but I also remember putting on a brave face for the students who were in my room with me.
