Tis The Season
No matter where you are in your life, there might always be people that are jealous and try to talk you down. They can be backstabbing
friends, or even random strangers who like trolling everyone or everything they see on Social Media. This is on my mind today, nothing
more, nothing less. Tomorrow, I will have different thoughts ~

I've had a couple of female friends who were envious of me. Why? One had a loving husband who had a good job, and two sweet children. The other friend had good job security and two adult children who were very supportive of her.

Sometimes, I suppose everyone else's reality appears better to some people.

This makes sense @ Pinky. When friends are envious of another friend,
often can be because everyone's reality might appear better to the other
person/friends.
 
Before I log offline for now, another thought is crossing
my mind.

Ya know, groups of friends both offline and online can develop
in each our lives. When and if we notice that our friends are being
mean to people outside of our friend group, sometimes it is a good
idea to speak up. Not always a good idea, but sometimes it is. Little
mean comments can cause a lot of hurt to others, therefore often
a better idea to surrounds ourselves with people who are genuinely
nice to us and to others imo.
 
A couple of these forums are as social media as I care to get.

There will always be some “friend” or foe who talks behind one’s back, ORRR gives unsolicited advice about anything, simply because they don’t want that person to enjoy life to a better degree than they (friend or foe) are.


My reply has always been “I don’t much care what you think ——you don’t sign my paycheck“

I’m not saying I haven’t made mistakes in this life but ——- “At the end of the day”😃, I find myself in an equal or better position than those who were way too preachy and trying to control how they thought I should live my life😇😇

I have two sisters; I practically raised one of them - who want nothing to do with me because I married a wonderful man. The one with whom I thought I had a good bond is happily married herself, so it is odd. The other sister wrote me a nasty email full of envy and resentment; somehow, I have mortally offended her by being happy.It saddens me, but I won't let it bring me down.

I guess the phrase "virtue signal" is just lost on them. Who'd a thunk it?
