Mysterious seeds are being sent to Americans, possibly from China

May well be a mistake without evil intent-BUT Tylenol 1982, should have made us
forever wary.

Judycat: 'Demon seeds' The covid 19, was not enough, now their sending us Dragon Seeds. Yuk, yuk, yuk,...Luckily Godzilla lives in Japan, not China  🦖

Has anyone reported on the genetic testing and/or it's results?

I didn't see China on the list. Mongolia is there but that's a small portion of China and it's stopped due the the unavailability of transportation.

It's there, down the list 7-21-20.. Those countries are by date. for various reasons

OK, thanks I see it now. I didn't realize I needed to choose something below the table. However the disruptions seem to be related to transportation issues within China and have nothing to do with any particular packages coming from China.

Here's an article saying the USDA has identified some of the seeds.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/usda-identifies-mysterious-unsolicited-seeds-163440971.html

From the article:

All 50 states have issued warnings about the packages some of which contain flowering plants like morning glory, hibiscus and roses, according to Osama El-Lissy, with the Plant Protection program of USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service. El-Lissy said other packages contain vegetables like cabbage and herbs including mint, sage, rosemary, and lavender.

fuzzybuddy said: This was in my thread about the seeds. Figured it should be shared here too since their the same thing.

"This sending seeds via the mail has all the hallmarks of a internet inspired conspiracy rumor. A foreign power, and possible enemy, is sending "mysterious" seeds to poor, unsuspecting Americans& Brits to further some diabolically evil plot. Throw in a space alien, and a couple of ghosts, and you've got a late night movie. The US's FDA found the seeds were common vegetable, and flower seeds. Their country of origin seems to be debatable. Somehow you think that would be easy to find out? It isn't. Plus. as far as a plot of some kind , it's not really effective. How many citizens, who get these seeds are going to rush out, and plant these people eating plants in the ground? When you take in whether these seeds will germinate, won't get eaten, won't freeze, won't dry out, won't drown, won't bake , won't etc , etc, etc. The odds of any successful plot tanks . The US FDA says not to plant hem, but even the US FDA think this is a "brushing scam" . I don't understand it, but they mail out stuff free, and then claim to have satisfied customers. I believe the FDA is right, and this is more of an internet conspiracy rumor, which has its origin in some kind of business venture.- not an international plot against humanity."

So. Summing up panel. What's the verdict on the seeds? Harmful? Benign? Evil?

Good question Camper6 I like the evil thing, lol. So has any member here gotten any of these seeds themselves and to prove it's not a fake news post I'd like the member to take a picture of the package of seeds holding up the latest edition of a newspaper showing today's date.

BTW: I think I have waaaay too much time on my hands.

I've read that but why seeds? That's just creepy considering international restrictions to prevent plant disease spread. You can't even buy some vegetable and flower seeds from state to state. Why not empty packages, pebbles whatever if they're scamming addresses.

This is what bothers me when I read about stuff like this.
If there are restrictions on imports of plants and everything from another nation, why isn't customs intercepting them. Why is the post office forwarding them instead of impounding them.
Cripes when I cross the border from Canada into the U.S. they always ask me if I have any citrus fruits with me. If I had an orange with me they would impound it. So if these seeds are coming in from China and they are restricted why aren't they impounded? This is the kind of stuff I don't get and it bothers the heck out of me.

The seeds have been tested by the USDA and they are ordinary seeds and nothing toxic about them.

That may be, but where did Nicolas Cage get that newspaper adverting cigarettes?
Is that a Russian or Chinese conspiracy?

jerry old Putin says the CIA has reached their allotment of holes in the Nevada dessert so please focus on the second round of 1,200 rubles stimulus checks and act like that person in the grainy photo is not who you think it is, Da?

BTW: Herr Cage is brokering a 3 billion dollar ammonium nitrate deal from the rear door of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to pier 13 at the Beirut Seaport. Now please remember loose lips sink back door weapons and explosives deals.
