Nabisco Built A Doomsday Bunker To Protect It's Oreo Cookies

Really. This is no joke, although my friend who posted it on FB was hoping it was. :D Included in this article is a video featuring the man who was tasked with building it in just 30 days ahead of the asteroid that was to pass Earth today, just in case it hit us instead. Apparently the idea came from an Oreo-holic customer who couldn't stand the thought of all those cookies being lost to a catastrophic event. I'm thinking maybe Nabisco could have used that money to give their employees bonuses or something.

they could've but a world with no oreos? might kill some of us. lol!

I put a pack of Oreo's on my grocery order the other day. When they were delivered they were Vanilla oreos. didn't know they existed
and they tasted old. I've never seen any lemon. Guess I'm not to old to learn a thing or two.

You knw what I say? "Thank goodness. " I would hate to see the Oreo cookie go away. After all, it's America's cookie, or so I am told.

Oh, no! Then Oreos are a disturbing symbol of nationalism and we must protest!

In all seriousness, Nabisco knows that the threat is more serious than an asteroid. But how they think the survival of a cookie is going to benefit survivors of the aftermath is beyond me.

Did anyone notice the real purpose of this web site, which is to get people to check on that box at the bottom that says they will "accept all cookies?"
I think the Oreo thing is largely a joke, designed to distract the users enough to get them to accept a different kind of cookie.
