Name one thing that you absolutely loathe to do!

Extended thank you to all here who took the time to reply!

I have enjoyed everyone's entries immensely, and I can relate to so many that you posted! :)

I am beginning to get mighty tired of repairing my sprinkler system. I walked out to get the newspaper and saw that one of my inground popup sprinkler heads was not working right. This is the 3rd time this season.

I should know by now that any repair that I estimate will take 15 minutes is going to take 45 minutes to an hour. But there I was out in the heat digging up a broken sprinkler when the heat index was 100F. Fortunately, I had all the parts.

But I was sopping wet with sweat and a little ticked off when I finished. Why don't they make these things out of more durable materials?

One of my neighbors put short lengths of black PVC pipe tube around all his sprinkler heads. They're probably 4" in diameter, 6" deep into the ground, and jut an inch just a bit over the sprinkler head. This solved his broken sprinkler head problem.
