Hint it was a demo record that he recorded for his Momma at Sun Records in Memphis in 1954. The owner of Sun Records was Sam Phillips, who, believe it or not, discovered Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, John Cash and Carl Perkins. At one time Sam Phillips had ALL FOUR of them under recording contracts. Some of his other musical discoveries were Howlin Wolf, and Ike Turner., BB King and Muddy Waters .
At one time, a few years later Sam Phillips started a low power Memphis AM radio station with a All Female on air staff, the call sign was WSHE, and the studio was in one of the first Holiday Inn hotels in the south. Imagine an all female DJ line up in the early 1960's?
So name the first song Elvis ever recorded?
