toffee, I can tell you are a Brit. In the US, we don't have pubs, we have bars. There's a big difference. For some unknown reason, the concept of a "pub" doesn't do well here, So, I'd call my 'pub', "Brit's Place".
In Chicago many bars are called pubs, always have been, because of the Irish. Very common,
Near me one is called public house, the original idea of a "pub".
Another one is called "He's Not Here". In Denver there was a large bar called "Library".
I also like one in West Virginia called Merrymint in the seventies. Also Sneak Inn.

How about Loner's Lounge?
