The bought ones are….homemade ones are good.Never! That stuff is nasty!
Nothing to do with TV dinners……at a young age, i too, think at 8 or 9, I did the cooking….both parents worked.@Jace What a quaint notion...cooking every night for a family meal! LOL I did, too. My mother didn't, though, because starting at about age 8, I did the cooking and woe to me if it wasn't ready when she got home from work at 5:30.
I only got to eat TV dinners when babysitting a cousin. They were such a treat!
We as well, sat at the table for meals and talked about the day…..I cooked at a young age, as well, both parents worked.We (d/h, me&2 kids)
always had dinners/supper together every night..I cooked.
that we sat around the dinner table and talked about "the day" we had.
When d/h worked 4pm-12..kids thought "it was a big treat" to have TV dinner
they picked out...and were able to watch in front of the TV.
@GAlady..how you brought back memories.
We ne er had them..when I was a kid..my mom cooked EVERY night.
