Their property is THEIR property, but letting their kids and relations play football in my front yard is okay. He ran a line of assorted sticks haphazardly between our front yards and rearranged them every few days. I finally asked him, "what's with the sticks?" and he claimed he had the property line surveyed. I said, "Oh - so I can find a record of this?" It was a lie and I proved it! They were expanding their domain foot by foot. He already has 3 times the property that I have. I have since had a real survey done.
When his grandfather lived their, I used to mow between the properties. It gave a nice clean line and was easier for both of us. This is a #head grandson who inherited it. He tried to intimidate me by sitting on his lawn tractor behind scrub bushes when I went out to mow. I really wonder what he intended to do if I "crossed the line."
His kids are rude and I know it is because he encourages this and also criminal behavior. When his 15 year old was busted for traffic violations, he laughed it off. "I did the same things when I was young, haha." Really good parenting, huh?
During the last election, he placed an obscene political sign facing my front door (So only I could see it) and played the most outrageously filthy, disgusting white-supremacist, right wing, and sexist music VERY loud whenever I went outside.
He also called the police with a noise complaint that I was tearing down a wall when I had workers move an 18" retaining wall closer to my house so I didn't have to deal with the mowing border issues. I told the nice officer that all that happened was shoveling of dirt into a wheelbarrow and restacking blocks. I also took the opportunity to tell him that was only being done because of the harassment issues and that I was spending thousands trying to "get away from them." He was very sympathetic. (-:
The list goes on, and yes, I am keeping a dated list.
