With 90,000 Hispanic children crossing the Texas border, many issues have come about. Here is Houston the legal authorities are becoming aware that the Hispanic gangs are looking at these children for recruiting purposes.

They are promising protection, homes, and to replace the children's lost families.

We think our crime rate is bad now, the authorities are warning all of us that crime more than likely will become a lot worse.

But of course they didn't mention any strategies that might help prevent even a fraction of the predicted rise in crime. :tapfoot:
 

But if we did that, it would be pretty hard for us to turn around & lecture other countries about compassion then, wouldn't it?

I guess this is the price we pay for being the country who is supposedly the most concerned with human rights of any other country.

Or I guess we could just start being like those other countries who don't give a crap about people.

Perhaps we shouldn't be lecturing other countries about anything in the first place ...

But as has already been stated many times in many places, we seem to be more concerned with other countries' rights more than our own. You can't help others if you can't help yourself, not without risking your own downfall.

I wouldn't advocate that - I just advocate getting our own house in order before we assume we can help others.

When I was a martial arts teacher I often had prospective students, and even total strangers walking in off the street, who wanted to spar with me to see what I could do. Aside from legal considerations (I insisted that they pay one month's tuition and sign the release forms) I took them all on, on the assumption that I would be a poor teacher if I couldn't walk the walk.

You need to show that you are in control of yourself before you are so presumptuous as to control others.
 
We should have stopped them at the border in the first place. Since we didn't do that we should just send them back across the border and let Mexico deal with them. After all they couldn't have even got to our border without Mexico letting them pass through.
 
why should the other countries take em when they know we'll take in every dead beat and killer in the world ??

Illegal Immigrant “Children” Include MS-13 Gang Members

an internal summary of Border Patrol operations at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Nogales (Arizona) Placement Center stated that 16 unaccompanied immigrant children being held at the facility are members of Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) transnational criminal gang.
The summary, which was obtained by the Townhall online magazine, noted that Border Patrol officials at Nogales were alerted to the MS-13 presence among the detainees when they discovered gang-related graffiti in the walls of the processing center. It stated:

the MS13 is the deadliest gang in the world. they been coming in here for years. their goal is to murder rival gangs here and take over. they've also murdered US citizens as well. same with Islamic terrorists

Lets face it,TODAY..The words Human Right is so overblown that its ridiculous.

Its very simple, people of all ages (1 to 100) come into this country ILLEGALLY and they must be kicked in the ash back to where they come from.
Its not about illegal children,it about the survival of the United States and its present American citizens that need to be taking care of FIRST.
There are American born children,parents,world war vets,elders,etc that can't even get a decent meal or a place to sleep but the do-gooders want these illegals to be fed,housed,educated,medical care for free.
Something is very wrong with this picture.
Human Rights is a joke nowadays.
 
All of the above thinking, is to me, the kind of thinking that, the longer it continues, the longer the world will continue to be the crappy place it so often is.

On the other hand, if the kind of thinking that the US promotes & tries to reflect in it's stance & policies on the issue of human rights continues & eventually spreads to all contries, then maybe there won't be these mass exodus situations to begin with.

That, to me, is as good a reason as any for the US to continue to hold itself up as an example, so that maybe, these other countries will eventually begin to "get it" & start behaving better towards their own people. Somebody has to persevere & keep on shining the light of decency no matter how long it takes. Might as well be first world countries like the US & the nations of Western Europe, etc.

Seems to me, that the goal of the human race ought to be to evolve to the point where, all the misery & strife that's created by that selfish, narrow-minded, "let's take care of number one & screw everybody else" mentality that is unfortunately still so prevalent in people today, would cease to exist & most people would be happy to stay where they're at, rather than continuing on with the status quo, divided & against each other all the time, worried about what some outsider is getting. We'll never evolve to that point if we give up & lower ourselves to the level of the rest.

And honestly, no matter what the politicians on either side say about wanting to end illegal immigration, had they really wanted to end it, they could've accomplished it long ago. But the corporations who control what goes on in this country know that illegals are good for the economy & therefore, good for business all the way around.
