Greetings, I was born, raised & live in the western U.S. Hunted, fished & traveled throughout all 50 States, spending from 2 hours to 2 years in each. Had 1 non-combat military assignment in western Europe & 1 in the far east. Total 4 years active.
Turned agnostic/atheist in my 40’s. Decided that beholding to no one was the best route for me. Married (still) after 54 years to the same spouse. (She claims it was interesting but never dull). I belong to no political party, usually vote for my perceived best candidate. ('24 Warren)
I trained in the tech field & after 53 years & 15 retirement years I noticed that I had lost a few steps, so rely on my son, g-son or daughter for needed help. I gave up FB, & all social sites (except now this). Canceled my Amazon in ‘22, I do maintain an email address for emergency contact if needed.
Use a very simple approach with my ‘Android’ smartphone which I can self-destruct if problems arise. I use Linux with my laptop exclusively. Like the cost & privacy, (they claim). Now in my waning years I decided a few years back that I was becoming a menace on the roads & gave up driving.
