New here seeking friendship

Anyone know how to post a photo into my profile? I know basic computer and 90 percent of webpages add a photo with a few easy clicks but I'm having trouble posting my photo here sigh frustrating lol
Message keeps coming up "not a valid photo" >>>>> OR if one of the moderators give me a link I can give THEM my photo and they can paste into place if thats ok

I'm not sure, but I think a few days have to pass before posting photos. I think, though, you can put a photo in your avatar.
 
OKay everyone a bit more about me\
I'm here to find a pen pal- male or female- a bonus would be someone within 50 miles locally but I'd be okay with an email pal or a Zoom companion. Have you had much success with them at all? I have a short story collection on amazon ( not many sales) and I have a few novels I am working on-- paranormal and fantasy

When you go in there, you can see my other books. I am Greek, so my books tend to have Greek themes. So I have catered to a particular niche. Attending writers' conferences helps. Joining a writers' organization helps. Speaking about your book at bookstores helps. It's an ongoing process. I did all that when I first started writing in 2000. I spent many hours promoting my first book. To be honest, it was tiring. I would rather be writing.

Feel free to share your amazon books with us. I had started a thread at some point on authors sharing their written works. We have a few authors and poets here. So over time, you will get to know them. Good luck!
