Hi everyone. I just joined. I am a 66 year old Canadian lady. I retired from healthcare to own a small house on a half acre in rural New Brunswick. I have 4 rescue cats. I was able to realize my dream of having chickens. I was very hooked on hatching out my own chicks. I have done that 4 times now. I also like walking. reading games. writing and crafts.

Welcome. That is a nice part of the world to be from. New Brunswick is beautiful. We use to pass through it on our way to kayaking up in Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. I remember having to pay attention to the incoming tide at Hopewell rocks on the Bay of Fundy. I think thats where there was a sign saying if you are here after (the time noted on the sign) you should head to the rescue tower because it was too late to make it back to the landing. I am on Cape Cod and we only have 3-4 foot tides, your 50 foot tides are amazing and it comes in quick!.

Welcome, Mo. Our future SIL works on the Cape - - mostly in the Falmouth area. Dreads the daily trips as the tourist traffic at the bridges is starting to build.

What does he do there? If he lives off cape then his commute is awful in summer.
