New hobby: Scotch!

Bourbon man meself - never have liked scots whiskey - brandy ok and occasional rums and vodkas [not together] mature pallet?? - or maybe damaged??

I never liked Bourbon. I'm a Scotch WHISKY man, not WhiskEy - that's Irish.

I consider Bourbon, Whisky and Whiskey to be different drinks. I've had all three that I liked but Whisky will always be my favourite.

One of my best friends loved Scotch. So I tried it. He said it was an acquired taste. Except for oatmeal, I have never acquired a taste. If I don't like something, I don't ingest it again.

My favourite is Laphroaig. It is a single malt whisky. It has a distinct peaty flavour.
