Hello everyone; My name is G.Theodore Whitehead {Teddy} I'm a widower and I'm 78 years old and my wife died about two months ago.
and I am lost without her we were marry for 52years and 6 month and one day when she passed away. This is my first post and that about
all I know to say today.
 

Welcome Teddy! Reading your post made my heart hurt-I am truly sorry for your loss. My childhood best friend was a Whitehead. Born in England but came to the U.S. when she was 7 years old. We stayed friends always,until her passing a few years ago at age 59. Hopefully spending time on this forum will give you something fun to focus on!

Not the same as having someone close by to talk to but nevertheless comforting to know that there are people interested in what you have to say. Don't hang back, we are all open to meeting and getting to know you whenever you decide to enter the discussions or the general nonsense. Take your pick according to your mood at the time.

Hi Teddy...I echo what all the others before me have said. Welcome to the forum from me in London UK.. you'll find people on this forum from lots of different countries to chat too, as well as the USA, so come on in, test the waters...it's very warm you know.. 2 months is such a very short time since you lost your darling wife, so just take things at your own pace, we'll all be here when you wanna come and chat any time :)
