Greetings!

I just joined after observing some of the activity here for a few days. Seems like a good group of people.

I'm retired and spend my time watching movies, playing my guitar (poorly), and doing some other things... wasting time on the internet. I'm going on a little trip to Washington, D.C. in a few weeks to check out the museums and buildings. I'm 66 but have never been inside the Capital, so I'm finally getting the chance. I'll refrain from making any political comments about what goes on there. I'm into architecture and at one time, thought about becoming an architect.

Hi Marie! Thanks for the welcome! My choice of beverage would be a margarita, but I've developed an intolerance for alcohol in my old age, so I'll have to settle for water.

My abiding memory is having to have my car aligned regularly because the bridges into DC were a nightmare.

I visited London a few years ago and then rode the train to Paris. We stayed in a hotel across the street from Hyde Park. Fun trip!
