You can upload a photo from your computer by clicking on the "Insert Image" icon above your post
insertimage.png
. Click on "From Computer", "Browse" to locate the image, "Open" and "Upload". To use a photo from another website, copy full URL of photo (not webpage) , click on "Insert Image" icon, click on URL, copy and paste.

Another way to add a photo to your post is to click on "Go Advanced" under the post, if you're not there already. Then, below the post, click on "Manage Attachments". Click on "Add Files", browse your computer for the photo, open, and click on "Upload". When it's uploaded, click on "Insert Inline"...and it will go into the post you're working on.

You can also start a photo album, and upload the photo into that. Then you can paste the copied BB code from the photo in your album into your post.

If your photos are bigger than 1024x768, they will be re-sized automatically during the upload. After the automatic re-size, the file size will be reduced below 300KB (most will be smaller than 200K). So, you don't have to reduce the file size. But some photos can be very big, you can save some upload time if you reduce them before the upload.

and I think it goes outside a dog a book is mans best friend, because inside a dog it is to dark to read

Good choice. These mid size pickups make the most sense for most people. They offer the power and utility that most people can use without the "overkill" of having a huge 3/4 ton gas guzzler just to run errands. I have a Dodge Dakota, and it has been a super truck. I sometimes check on new trucks, but so long as the Dakota behaves like it has been, I may drive it until I'm too old to drive.

I have to ask...why do so many Americans have trucks?..is it because you use them regularly to haul stuff around in the back? People here rarely have trucks like those unless they're using them as part of their job..say a self employed plumber /builder/gardener etc, a very few use them with a caravan attachment for camping..but ...otherwise if you're not using them for regularly hauling stuff isn't it just using a lot of fuel to carry an empty space?..genuine question! :D

Holly, I still have my husband's truck. I kept it because we use it to carry off trash, pick up potting soil and things like that. IMO, every family needs a pickup truck. My children and grandchildren use it for heavy loads, too.

My husband always had a pickup truck along with our other vehicle(s). Years ago we did a lot of our own work on our houses, fences, etc. Most pieces of lumber we would buy were long 2X6 planks, or 4X6 posts, etc. His truck always had a full-length bed. Other large items like appliances, lawn mowers and other things we bought from stores could be taken home by us in our truck.

We also used to go tent camping in the US, Canada and Alaska, so with a 'shell' cover on the pickup, we could have all our supplies along with the dog back there. In our later years, we've been using our truck for our slide in camper, which fits into the bed. We use to have a full sized one, now we have a more streamline "pop-up" camper. If we had to use the truck for hauling something now, we can remove the camper and set it in our driveway.

First of all... It's UnAmerican to NOT have a truck sitting in your driveway. :>) Trucks have come a long way. Most trucks have just as much leg room/seating capacity as any automobile on the market. You get the seating, plus the ability to haul about anything you want to. From trips to the lumber yard to trips to the furniture store, you've got the room to haul "stuff".
Then, the trucks of today get exceptional fuel mileage. My Ram HEMI will get well over 20 mpg on the highway at turnpike speeds. Certainly, there are cars that will get much better mileage. At what sacrifice?? If it's a car that has as much leg room and is as comfortable riding in, I doubt it will get much more than 30 mpg. If most folks drive less than 15,000 miles/year, the fuel cost difference isn't really that much.
In my truck, I sit up higher and feel safer than in a smaller size vehicle. Whatever the road conditions, I have four-wheel drive if necessary. In the Midwest, we can go from dry highways to ice to slush to snow in a matter of a couple miles.
Trucks have become a choice mode of transportation for many people. Truck owners/drivers are no longer limited to male "cowboys". Business execs, ladies, us old geezers, teenager drivers... many choose to drive a truck.
