Newbie from Mississippi

Hello everyone. Been retired for 7 years(I'm 59) and have really enjoyed it so far. Single with no children that I know of. I do have a furry house mate, my 5 year old lab. He keeps me active by taking him on long walks. I enjoy playing golf too. And might be buying a condo soon on the AL coast. Not sure how much time I will be staying there, but could turn out to be my permanent residence. Time will tell.

So look forward to participating here. I did have a tough time coming up with the secret word to join. I don't consider myself an elder type.

I'll be 62 in June and then it's anybody's guess when I'll retire, I'd like to retire while I have a shred of sanity left.

I don't consider myself a senior either - in fact, I guess I could classified as an Apprentice Junior Senior according to Old Hipster's system.

I had to pay a "Special Entrance Fee" to join up here because of my age - hope they didn't soak you too badly.
