I see they're on Kickstarter - any bets as to whether or not they meet their goal?

To me it just seems a little - I don't know - useless? We already have bikes, we already have paragliders ... all they're doing is recombining two of the elements.

I can understand the desire to experiment but it looks pretty dangerous and just plain foolhardy. Of course, that never stopped anybody. Take off and landing are the hardest part . . . good luck with that. Besides, it's been done before...
