No Guns or Ammo On Display @Walmart

I wanted to reload a few hundred casings that I picked up at the range, but I can't find any primers for a decent price. Good ammo for my .45 is costing almost a buck a round.

Same thing happened a few times in the past...

I would imagine that most everyone has heard that Walmart has removed guns and ammo from their shelves. It's still available, but the customer has to ask for it. Ammo prices have skyrocketed, in case you haven't noticed. It's not cheap to go to the range and fire a couple of hundred rounds anymore. I am well supplied, or at least, I think I am.

I read a bulletin while at the State Police Academy just a few weeks ago and it stated that the FBI and Homeland Security are preparing to take on any extremist groups during our election period, which is already underway. I don't quite know what this means because the FBI, which works closely with HS and the DOJ have their own interpretation of phrases that they send out.
would that be a threat of violence if someone doesn't vote the way they want? They did that here when Obama ran the 2nd time.

They never stopped stocking them, they just removed them from the displays. Most (50%) that carry guns and ammo are in states with large populations of hunters. Walmart has not sold handguns in years.
Lots of hunters in Kansas

Do you suppose people think they can shot the virus?🤣. We don’t have any guns, don’t want any guns.

Same with me. I prefer to keep my money instead of giving it to gun sellers and makers. I remember during the Obama era, certain news media would run stories that he was going to take guns from everybody. I read and saw stories about people going out time and again adding to their already stocked arsenal. I really thought it was a ruse between said media and the gun sellers/makers to separate people from their money.

Yeah, the last couple/three years, I've just maintained my stock
Haven't bought any ammo since moving to town
Doubt I will
Since in town, I think I'm overly stocked

When living at the cabin (after the 'shortage'), I'd run maybe 20/30 rounds thru the lid of a 55 gal drum
Mostly .357 and .22 mag
Then a few .223 and .308s to keep things (and me) tuned

I think there will be an orderly transfer of power. What I'm worried about is civil unrest if the "wrong" person wins.
The wrong person always wins. Lets say my child is in a race with 10 other children. My child loses, therefore, the wrong child won. Or my husband is up for a promotion and someone else gets the promotion. The wrong person won.

Unless, of course, I had a boy friend, and my boyfriend won the promotion, and I divorce my husband, and marry my boyfriend. Only then has the right person won. šŸ˜‚

I once read that bank/s ( USA) were offering a gun if one opened a bank account!!???
I seriously think the thing about banks and guns is FALSE. I've never heard or seen such a thing here. Just a malicious rumor. It's ridiculous on its face.
Then again....ever think a bank wouldn't let you in unless you wore a mask?
(just thinking in reverse)

I am well stocked and prepared.

Same here. I, and most everyone who lives in this rural area, own firearms. Deer season is almost a "religious holiday" around here. Crime is a minimal concern, and if any Nutcases ever tried to riot/loot in this area, they would likely become "target practice". Those living in the larger cities, however, probably need to constantly look over their shoulders....especially with all the lunacy that has taken place in recent months.

That's what I like about this town we moved to.
It's big enough to have decent price competitive shopping
But not a 'big' city
