Moved back to NY from Florida. 🤓 2025
We are about 4-5 miles from the Melbourne airport and this weekends air show which starts tomorrow. The Blue Angels are here again this year and for the past two days have been practicing their show. Did I mention the noise...wow. The B-1 bomber is due here at 1:45. Hope I get to see it fly over.
 

I love the air shows. So much training goes into that precision flying. Proud of our Canadian Snowbirds, they also put on quite a show.
 
I like airshows. We are about an hours drive from Whiteman AFB....home of the B2 bomber...and they hold a 2 day event every two years...we always go both days.
 
I use to live near Griffis AFB, now defunct, in New York State. Their main approach to the runway was in back of my house. It was a SAC base and the planes were mostly B-52s and C-135s. What a sight watching these monsters flying low to land. We were also aware that they had nuclear bombs on board.
 
We where out working on a quiet county road when four blue jets (I think it was the Blue Angles, not sure.) made a pass right over us, following the road and heading north. One of our guys said there was a Air Show in a nearby town that weekend. You could feel the sound/energy as they flew by, it was something to experience. Wow..
