The passing of which prominent person in 2014 meant the most to you?

For me it was a toss up between Pete Seeger and Sid Caesar.

I shall have to think about this! I am very bad at remembering who has died /when etc. Who was Sid Caesar by the way? I think that Pete Seeger was a folk singer?

I didn't know what Sid Caesar was up to these days, but I was sure sad to know he died. He was one of my faves from the old gang

The one that had to most effect on me was Robin Williams. Those that entertain, make people laugh, are often so broken on the inside. His friend said that he could make every one happy except himself, broke my heart. The young ones that passed really hit me though, they'd barely started their lives.

Probably James Garner. I was not a big Robin Williams fan, but he had a special talent and died much too young, which made it all the more sad.
