We have decided to leave this beautiful weather and move back up to Poughkeepsie, NY. Are we nuts, yeah probably but the last two stays in the hospital have helped make the decision easier. My wife’s memory is declining and she was alone here, at nights, and really needed some help. So we going back up to be with family and rent a small place near them.



My daughter, bless her, has done all the paperwork and found our new place. I will be listing my home here within the week and sell mostly furnished because we are downsizing real big.



Here is a floor plan of the one we are leasing. One less bedroom and bathroom than what we have now. Just need to hear from owners and it’s a go.

I know it is a big decision for you and Thelma to move back. It sounds like being near your daughter is the best thing you can do. Poughkeepsie! Not far from here. Maybe we will meet one day in person. Looks like a nice place. I will be thinking good thoughts and prayers for a successful move. :)

Yes Kat. Norwich will be on my list to visit once more as well as Sylvan Beach. Thank you.
