Now I feel at home here....I see there are alot of us who can't sleep for whatever the reason...

So Phil, did your brownies just make you want to snack more?? :)

I hate to admit it, but I really have eaten the whole tray already. :( It was my breakfast and lunch.

Thing is, with our funky old electric stove the temperature is always a by-guess / by golly thing, and they ended up underdone, so they were more like soft fudge.

They call that "done!"

Edit:

Wups! Oh yea, the OP topic....something about sleep or sleep problems- I remember years ago hearing it be said, "old people don't get as much sleep because they don't need it". Well, we know what a bloody lie that was! I'd like to kick the stuffing out of whoever said that...

I've gotten used to a broken night's sleep, but I can't tell yuh what I'd give for a full night's sleep.

No, you missed my point. I meant did the brownies give you the munchies? It was just a joke, as years ago I was in a convenience store and 3 people came in and had their arms full of all kinds of snack foods and put them on the counter and my daughter said "Mom, they've been home eating brownies".

Oh, okay LOL!

No, they were just plain ol' ordinary brownies - unfortunately.

It's funny, but there's research that points in both directions - that yes, older people need less sleep, but also that older people don't get as much sleep as they need.

Nobody seems to have the definitive answer on this.

I'm an Aussie so there is a huge difference in our time compared to allot of our members it's right on 6.30 pm now :sunglass: Sun still shining brightly as we are in the middle of summer

I guess you're in a different time zone from Melbourne. It's just after 3pm here in Thailand. Visiting here makes it very easy to Skype my sis in law in Melbourne. Otherwise it's early or late.
