■ Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
■ Alzheimer’s disease
■ Cancer
■ Chronic traumatic encephlopathy
■ Crohn’s disease
■ Epilepsy or other seizure disorder
■ Fibromyalgia
■ Glaucoma
■ Hepatitis C
■ Inflammatory bowel disease
■ Multiple sclerosis
■ Chronic or intractable pain
■ Parkinson’s disease
■ Post-traumatic stress disorder
■ Sickle cell anemia
■ Spinal cord disease or injury
■ Tourette’s syndrome
■ Traumatic brain injury
■ Ulcerative colitis
(*) Defined in House Bill 523; State Medical Board may expand list of qualifying medical conditions

I have 2 conditions on the list so I hope I will able to find a doctor to prescribe or however they do it.

BTW - make sure you don't ask your doctor to "prescribe" - I believe they can only "recommend". Some kind of legal point about that ...

I thought I'd need a prescription for it, though. Can't get it yet, though, anyhow. ;)

I'm on the list due to spine issues...but I hope we get it for who ever wants to try it period.

The requisites for it will expand....just as soon as all the right folks are in place to make money from it.

In some states, regular doctors are reluctant to go on record with the formal recommendation. There are specialists who will examine your medical records and do the formalities (letter of recommendation, photo ID card, etc.). These doctors are not usually covered by insurance but their fees are not outrageous.
