Yes, I know "second" hand from a gal that has a son in a prison, in Eastern Oregon. He brags to her about all he has over there. I know some could be to keep her from worrying, but I think that it's true in many cases, that the prisoners get much better provision/care then our elderly
I think so too, I mean, I know being in prison would be no picnic, just having to do things "their" way, but the same goes for our elderly. I was as a home trying to get a clerical job, and was asked to sit in with a meeting. Several of the folks were there. On had a bad eye, like it was watering, truly bothering her. The manager made her put down her tissue and hand to say hello to me It really ticked me off and I let the manager know. I didn't get the job either. She said they are like children and have to be treated like that, but if a child was hurt, you make them do something like say hello and introduce yourself? Maybe I'm just misunderstanding, but I didn't like it.
