I got 2 diff types of salad in a bag, one included tiny pieces of toast, I had some
dressing so there I went, feet first......not bad for a change....I guess tho I should
confess that I am detoxing from sugar now, having over-indulged for a few yrs and
many pounds!!!!!! So we will see what we see!!!!! 😼👏

Day at a time and good for you!

I don't eat salads often enough, but tonight is salad night for me too. Due to the leaking issue in my kitchen that's been escalating since Monday, we won't be cooking in there until it's repaired (tomorrow, God willing). My son picked up made to order salads for us yesterday from My Salad. Mine: romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, chopped egg, shredded cheese and chic peas with Russian dressing. I'm able to eat off it three times and will finish it tonight. Since you are detoxing from sugar, did you use a dressing that has no added sugars?

NoI was not choosy about the dressing, it was a ranch type I had on hand...

Good for you! We moved to those packaged salads for lunch after I retired. It's amazing the variety you can find. Like you mentioned, many have added ingredients. We are having a Tuscan one tomorrow that has black pepper, cheese strips and sun-dried tomatoes with a vinaigrette dressing. We just add a bit of protein, like chicken or shrimp to them.

For anyone that wants to enjoy a quick-to-make salad, try Taylor Farms. They are my go-to and are available at most grocery stores.

Salad is good for wabbits..

I'll think of you as I'm munching down these Milky Ways.. 🤣🤣🤣😁

I love salad and could eat one every day except by the time I smother it with cheese, and dressing (not low-calorie dressing), it's very unhealthy. If I could just stick with egg, cucumbers, radishes, etc..I'd be much better off but wouldn't enjoy it as much.
