Old Men with Pink Hair

Have you seen old men with pink, or blue or purple or whatever coloured hair?

Yesterday while watching HGTV House Hunters, the senior man had pink hair. His wife didn’t appear to have done anything with her hair.

So, I’d been thinking of asking this question this morning. I needed to go out early and I saw two old men with pink hair. The one guy looked like he just poured hot pink randomly all over his head. It felt like a “speak of the devil kind of moment.”

They have every right to colour their hair whatever colours they want. Neither one of these old guys would have been described as fashionable. It just surprised me. Maybe you folks in large metropolitan areas see it all the time.

Stay away from men with pink hair. It is not dyed. It is a genetic trait of the inhabitants of Zorgistan, the 5th planet from the star Epsilon Errordanny in the constellation Hermospertica (as viewed from Uranus). They are flesh eating lizards who disguise themselves as humans. They tried to dye their hair to blend with more common human hair colorings, but the result always fades to pinkish. It's a dead giveaway. They are Zorgistanians. If you get close to them they exude an odor similar to the dead rotting flesh of a bloated hippopotamus. Usually you cannot get more than 25 feet from them before gagging and upchucking. They are also very dangerous. Their toenails are shaped like arrowheads and if they swipe a kick at you, it's lights out for you.
 
Last night casually scrolling in FB I saw a young man (~35) with a major sweep of teal in his hair. He was well-dressed for a wedding.

I haven't seen any older men with pastel hair colors but some younger only. I don't get out a lot so I don't come across many people 😉
 
I saw an senior lady in the park with pink hair but never saw a man (elderly or otherwise) with pink hair. I love seeing men in pink shirts but don't know if I'd love seeing them with pink hair. :)
 
Pink hair or any wild unnatural color is one of those things that screams "look at me!", and my first thought would be wondering why they need the attention. For some reason young kids sporting wild hair colors doesn't bother me, but seniors doing it, especially men, seems so desperate.

Not much in my own closet today. Pink was more of an '80s thing. After recent culling I only find these. Sorry, poor lighting and the flash washed the colors out a bit:

The coral polo doesn't get worn much. It isn't really "my" color I suppose. Probably looks better against a different skintone.

Maybe he died it for Pride Month. June, right? I think so.
