Older People Can be Pretty Cool

How fabulous this lady appears. Others were rudely staring but I told
her she looked fabulous. "Thank kind Sir," she replied with an endearing
smile. The style was very popular in the 50's, the hem of the petticoats
were just allowed to show, that is, unless she was on the dance floor
and did a twirl, you saw a lot more when that happened. I do love the 50's.

"I've had these gents in my inspiration folder for awhile now. I love old guys. When I heard 60's t.v. personality Art Linkletter died today at 97, I thought about these guys again. They are still making cool stuff in their 90's. Irving Harper, above, designed some of the most recognizable housewares of the 50's and 60's. Today, at 93, he makes intricate paper sculptures. Oh, I just loved this! Penguins are on my Favorite critter list. I'm happy for her.
 
Older folks are pretty cool is a rumor going around promoting old age as if it something to look forward to. I, on the other hand the reality of advanced age reminding the world it does not matter what age you are or come to be the world is exactly how you have it to be.
