I turn 70 in Nov

When I woke up today, I was 67. I don't know how that happened , just yesterday I was 19.

I'm a happy 82. Sometimes I have to be reminded how old I am. Age is all in the mind...and my mind tends to forget things like this :>)

That's what the dental assistant said yesterday. When I changed rooms to go from cleaning to getting a crown, she asked me my name to confirm who I was.
She explained that my chart patient info showed my age but I didn't look my age. I laughed and asked her what an 81 year old was supposed to look like. No like you she said.

It actually feels like yesterday when I was @MarciKS age..I'm not being facetious, but I haven't a clue where the last 11 years have gone, I honestly feel like certain things I was doing in my mid 50's was just recent..

Yes I am 92. I feel like an old car that has been right round the clock but still has its radiator intact and although bits have dropped off over the years and my exhaust has started to blow my headlights are still working.
I have just played a game of Scrabble online and the person who I was playing said that he was 79 I said " You still have a way to go to catch me up then because I am 92". I won the game. Scrabble helps to keep the brain going.

I don't even remember what my 20s were like. And my 30s and 40s are a blurr of just working mostly.

oh I remember my 20's, 30's and 40's... like you working hard .. and raising my daughter.... I don't not recall any decade.. it's just that my mid 50's seemed so recent, it's a shock to think they were 10 years ago..or more , I did so much in my 50's as well..

I feel the same, Hols. Remembering specific instances in my life, they seem to have happened such a short time ago. In reality, they happened 20 years ago, when I was in my mid-50's!

Time seems to have flown, the past couple of decades. Scary

Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention to recall the name, but a long-ago famous actress remarked that aging is like being on a plane flying fast through a storm.. it doesn't slow down and it doesn't stop.

After retirement I decided to go on a vacation in September to avoid the kids and crowds. One day sitting in a restaurant I thought, there sure are a lot of old people here this time of year. Then it dawned on me..........................
