Feywon, I have mentioned that online friends can be real on this forum somewhere. Obviously I also had you in mind, as well as the people you mentioned in your reply. I add Teira and Officerripley to that list from back then (14 or 15 years ago) and now @Pecos. You all have been such a great support system and your friendships mean a great deal to me. 😘

Thank you. Not just for the welcome but the photo. Pretty sure those birds are in the 'exotic bird' category but with them 'bundled' and only heads visible, hard to tell. My Mom cared for exotic birds (various parrot breeds, Macaws, etc the last 10-15 yrs of her life. Often re-socializing birds that had been traumatized by ignorant or actually abusive owners. Only one, Oscar (he'd been abused) had to stay with her because he trusted no one else. Tho he did let me clean his cage and feed him without getting panicked. When she died my kids and i went to Florida to help my stepdad care for them for a couple of months. Thoroughly enjoyed it, but don't live in climate conducive to having any. So i feed the wild ones.

Not sure i have as much 'class' as OEDiva, but you'll learn about me soon enough. For starters, i tend to be longwinded and being part Irish/Welsh i have a thing for making real life moments into 'stories', not just relating bare facts. LOL! When i'm unsure what forum to post something on i'll post on my status. Tho my daughter (who will be 38 in Sept) lives with me sharing expenses, she jokes that i may be old but she's the 'decrepit' one. i split and stack firewood and do other physical chores around our property, cause she works full time--tho she does help where she can.
