My favorite holiday, Like Christmas without the hassle of presents. LOL
We still celebrate with a gathering , the same as when I was a child. The only difference is that my wife and I have replaced my grandmother and grandfather. Should be 29 of our off- spring, mates, kids, and great grandkids with 7 missing. We all live in three adjacent states, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Makes for under an hour's travel for all of us and this year we'll meet up at a grand-daughter's home in Rhode Island.
Everyone brings a part of the meal and as 6 of the group will be great grands, they won't do much damage to the food supply
