In 1966 - 55 years ago, Batman premiered on TV, Also the premier of All in the Family in 1971 (50 years ago).

I loved All in the Family.

It's amazing how many of those old television programs are still popular with audiences today.

It also amazes me how many sensitive subjects Norman Lear and others were able to bring to television in ways that made us laugh at ourselves instead of dividing us against each other.
