On many threads, the subject of angels has come up. Lets talk about angels here. Do they exist?

Yup, I believe in angels. I believe when other people tell me they believe. Have I seen an angel? Nope. Have I had what I consider to be an angel encounter? Yup. I prefer this explanation instead of thinking I’ve totally lost my mind. Do I believe in evil and that angels work to save/protect us from evil? Yup.

Do I believe angels help us-unseen and unheard? Yup. God moves in mysterious ways. How else could I, and many abused children, have survived their childhoods without intervention of some kind. Are angels the answer? IMO, yes.

What do you all think?

I have seen what I was told were angels, but it's easy to be deceived. They are a separate species from humans and don't have human emotions. They don't usually interfere in earthly affairs unless absolutely necessary, but are basically observers.

I don't know whether any of this is true, so don't get nasty, I am merely repeating what I was told.

Its funny, because I have embraced meditation for 45 years or so, and read the Bible through multiple times, memorizing Bible verses, and feel very "spiritually" oriented, but didn't feel the same about angels in general...frankly, just didn't think much about them, till one day in the 90's when I was waiting on the tag line to be interviewed on the radio. During the 90's did a lot of radio interviews and some TV. The week before I was to go on this radio interview, I'd had a very unusual meditation experience and "saw angels".

It had never happened before and as I was truly overwhelmed by these visuals, really wondered about it. The impressions were something I knew would never be forgotten - the total beyond earthly innocence of them, the way they moved. As I was waiting, could hear the guest before me being interviewed - she was an "angel lady", had written books and seemed very knowledgeable (if you can be) on that subject.

During the break, I ask the host if I could ask her a question, as it was a call in Q & A program and she patched me right through to her.
Upon describing what I saw during deep meditation, her voice registered excitement and she said "oh, you saw the Hummingbird Angel...
he will bring other angels." Indicating I was "near the throne" and had seen the Cherubim.

Remember his eyes and how fast the angel moved, with incredible rays of lights following his movements. He knew I was aware of his presence, too. Do honestly think this was a spiritual learning experience for me and even now I have an on line "Angel" spiritual group, sending out information from angel books to hopefully help others in the group. So many beings we aren't even aware of, best to keep our minds open so something great can "drop in". Perhaps he was sent by "my" angel to enlighten me...lol.

To this day, can't describe completely in this world of 3 dimensions what an obviously higher dimensional being adequately how that angel looked or the energy that radiated back to me. All I know is when looking at Ruben's depiction of them I get chills up my back and wonder "just how could he convey in a single dimensional medium those beings so well." Surely he must have also seen them.

I've been called an angel quite a few times after I seemed to show up right when someone needed (someone). Once it was to volunteer at the library. The audio manager was so happy. We had never met before that. But to answer your question, yes I do believe in angels. I've seen news stories of mysterious strangers helping out, sometimes in life and death situations, then just seemingly disappearing. Angels are mentioned in the Quran and the Bible.

As everyone here knows, yes, I do believe in angels and have had angel encounters twice in my life. They (the angels) were not strange or otherwordly but looked like humans and blended in with us. They came to help me with a problem I had on each occasion. I've had a couple of other angel experiences in times of extreme distress, but I did not see them. They definitely were helpers.

I would imagine everyone's angel experience is personal and different from others'. Maybe this creates confusion for those who don't believe in angels. There's no formulae to this.

I agree about angels being separate from humans. I do not believe that deceased people become angels. The angels mentioned in the Bible are definitely not deceased people, but are beings who serve messengers from God and act at the behest of God, i.e., the angel at the annunciation, the angel of death at the first Passover, the angels who told Rahab how to save herself, etc.

I do believe in Angels and feel they are the unseen helpers. Or they appear in human form to help us when needed. Like the rest of you I have experiences with them also.
