On the lighter side but of extreme interest

R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
I have gotten increasingly lazier as the years have passed so I finally tired of shaving with a razor blade. Also I seem to use more and more styptic pencils for minor cuts. I have had a old Norelco electric shaver I could make most of the whiskers disappear with, but I have lost patience with it and how it takes going over and over my face to effect a somewhat better appearance. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike looking at my manly face in the mirror but I get tired. Here comes the so.....

SO, I ordered and got today a new triple head Remington F750 shaver. I used it an hour ago and I am impressed. It did a yeoman's job of reducing three days growth stubble to nothing. Now, smelling of Old Spice I sit at the computer enjoying the scent wafting off my face and your good company.

Now, honestly, wasn't this post well worth your time??

I like it. It is not the rotary cutters, but the three side to side type makes it easier to go where you want with precision also the three cutting heads move to facial contours. I think he'll like it. It's priced reasonably and I think he'll like it.

I could never use a rotary shaver - I've always been a blade guy - but I'm glad you've found peace at last, Jim! :D

Thank you brother. Let's do a chorus of Kumbaya just to celebrate. You take the alto, I'll do the bass....it's gonna be great.

I'm sorry - my religion forbids the singing of Kumbaya. We DO have an alternate celebratory song, though, if you'd like to sing along ...

(sung to the tune of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia")

Jimmy, sharpen up your blades and use your razor hard
'Cause Hell's broke loose in AZ and your lubricant is lard
And if you trim you'll get this shiny brand-new Remington
But if you snooze you'll be a skeleton

Scrapin' at the beard hairs, one by one
Exfoliatin' in the rising sun
Too chicken to use a double-edge
Makes you want to jump the ledge

(fiddle solo)

I'm just glad to hear men are still shaving. Where I live, as soon as men move to the mts, they think they are mountain men and grow a long beard. My husband and brother both still believe in shaving thankfully. I don't mind a 2 day beard but after the 3rd day, I like to see a clean shaven man.

How many $$ did that Remington F750 shaver set you back? I'm a late-comer to 'lectric shaving, bought a Norelco rotary shaver a couple years ago, pretty mediocre performance however. :-(

I bought mine for 64 bucks with free 2 day shipping. I also got a extra cutter blade head free.
