I believe in self improvement, as an ongoing type of thing. I don't have a start/stop date. I'm either going to set a plan and follow it, or I'm not.I never make resolutions. What would be the point?

This just brought a memory of Dec 31 ~1958. We were at my uncle’s farm for the holidays. It was extremely cold and my uncle brought the newborn piglets into the kitchen to keep them warm. In the morning 18 little piglets were running around the kitchen.

I guess it's close enough to NYE to bring up our "one and only" tradition. For longer than I can remember, Dio and I will celebrate the end of the year, by playing this song.....

I remember!
I was at work all night, waiting for the world to end.
The company paid our Marriott food service to put out lavish buffets for us in an effort to show their appreciation.
Sadly, most of it was wasted because we sent most of the younger folks on their way early to meet up with family and friends.
I suppose the fact that we had no real issues was a testament to our brilliant planning and preparation.
