One Bite and You'll Know...

"You've died &gone to heaven" ...
My Mom's hand-made with love
her 🍎Apple cinnamon strudel
OMG... "heaven on earth"
(And..another..never got the recipe)
but there really wasn't one..
she learned by watching my grandmother
( Dad's mom)make it..
and it was always 'scent-satular'
yummy beyond belief..
and, of course, No stopping at one piece.😉

This was a school cafeteria novelty, so kids looked forward to it.

Before chicken nuggets there was:

Sadly we didn't have any fancy sweet & sour, BBQ, or other sauces. Some would insist on ruining it with ketchup though.

As it was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and I spent it alone, I decided to go to our local store to get a nice Coffee. The waitress asked me what I would like, and I said, seeing it was my birthday I might splash out and buy myself a lovely Cannoli. She asked what flavour I'd like, and I said the Ricotta one and I'd take it home.

I had the Coffee which was great and proceeded to pay for it and she handed me my Cannoli in a plastic box. When I got home, I was about to put it in the fridge when I noticed she had put 2 in the box. I looked at the receipt and she never charged me for them. I felt all emotional at her kindness.
You were not alone..
God used the waitress to cheer you
